Robert Denny Simpson

KERNERSVILLE-Robert ""Bob"" Denny Simpson, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born January 20, 1928 in VA to the late Charlie Cline and Nellie Worley Simpson.

Bob retired from the United States Navy after 24 years of service. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed dancing but most of all he loved his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Simpson; and a brother, Charles Simpson.

Surviving are his daughters, Sharon (Gary) White, Debbie (Mark) Isberner, Robin Frost and fiancé, Gregg; grandchildren, John White, Eric (Kristina) White, Jackie and Ethan Isberner; sister, Patricia Simpson; nephews, Dennis McGowan, Charles R. Simpson, Jr., and Roger W. Simpson.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
