Robert Larry Sasser

Mr. Robert Larry Sasser, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016.

Robert was born November 21, 1946 in Whiteville, NC to the late Lonnie and Merry Sasser. He retired after 37 years of service to Spaugh Motor Company. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering with things around the house and enjoyed farming and gardening. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife, Rebecca Ann Sasser.

Robert is survived by his sons, Lonnie Sasser and Brian Sasser; grandchild, Josh Sasser; sister, Ruth Ransom; and girlfriend, Edna Walker.

A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
