Winston-Salem- Mr. Robert ""Bob"" Miller Perryman, 85, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Perryman was born November 28, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Joseph F. and Mamie Laxton Perryman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp having served during WWII. Mr. Perryman was a member of Trinity Moravian Church and served as a past Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 716. He enjoyed the coast of NC and was an avid saltwater fisherman. Preceding him in death were a son, Thomas R. Perryman; two brothers, William L. Perryman and Franklin C. Perryman and a sister, Mary Laura Boswell. Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Mary Collins Perryman; daughter, Linda P. Greenwell and husband John of Terrell, NC; son, Robert B. Perryman and wife Teresa of Maumelle, Arkansas; also surviving are several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Trinity Moravian Church with Rev. John Jackman and Dr. William McElveen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The family would like to send a special thanks to Hospice for the loving care they gave to Mr. Perryman.
