Robert Peek

Rev. Robert Monroe Peek, Sr., 77, passed away at his home on May 21, 2021. Robert was born on December 20, 1943 to Edna Jane Henley Peek and Macon George Peek in Prince William County, Virginia. Following a long and distinguished career in the Air Force, Robert entered the Moravian seminary in Bethlehem, PA. He pastored several congregations during his years in the ministry. Robert walked along-side many families in their times of need, lending support, prayer and encouragement. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Blanche Earlette Peek, and a half-brother, Dennis Peek. Surviving are his son, Robert M. Peek, Jr.; brother, George Peek; sister, Sandra Peek; half-sisters, Kathy Peek, and Donna P’Pool; nieces and nephews, Amry, Stacey, Ginger, Todd, and Tricia. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Fairview Moravian Church with Rev. Tony Hayworth officiating. A graveside committal will follow at Salem Moravian Graveyard.
