KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Robert Noah Pardue, 95, of Naples, FL died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Naples Community Hospital. He was born May 10, 1918 in Wilkes County to the late James W. Pardue and Alice Porter. Mr. Pardue was a Mason and Veteran of WWII, serving with the Navy in the South Pacific. He retired from Norman Stockton Clothiers in Winston-Salem. He was a long time member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church. After retiring he and Jessie relocated to Naples, FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Smith Pardue; and an infant daughter, Lara Alice. Surviving are his son, Robert Terry Pardue (Lorita) of Naples, FL; two daughters, Gwen A. Pardue (Jay Doub) of Lewisville and Jayne Elizabeth Pardue (Joseph Janicki) of Blairsville, Ga.; four grandchildren, Teresa Phillips (Bob) of Wilmington, Lisa Smith (Chris) of Johnson City, TN, Alexandra (Alexander) Craig of Wilmington, Lauren Karr of Ventura, Ca; two great-grandchildren, Luci and Kai Smith; two brothers, Rev. William (Bill) Pardue of Sanford, J. T. Pardue of Sparta; and one sister, Agnes Hickey of Elkin. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church Cemetery with Noah's brother, Rev. William ""Bill"" Pardue officiating.
