Robert 'Bobby' McClung Painter

Mr. Robert ""Bobby"" McClung Painter, 53, passed away July 28, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born April 5, 1960 in Forsyth County to Norman Lee Painter and Frances Norton Painter. Bobby was previously Logistics Manager at Painter's Westend Furniture Shop. He was a breeder of championship German Shepherds and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Ebert and his brother Norman Painter, Jr. He is survived by his son, Dustin Painter; his parents, Norman Lee Painter and Frances Norton Painter; a sister, Dorothy Thomas and a brother, James Painter and wife Donna. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ron Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:30pm at the cemetery prior to the service. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and physicians of the intensive care unit 4-C at Wake Forest Baptist Health for their compassionate care and Jay and Whitney Martinez for their friendship and special care.

Visitation will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens prior to the service.
