Robert Coleman Miller

Mr. Robert Coleman Miller, 71, of Clemmons passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 21, 1939 in Montgomery, Al to Harry Coleman and Allene Cunningham Miller. Mr. Miller was active in church activities and the Methodist Men. He served with the Clemmons Food Pantry and was a member of Salem Glen Country Club. He also retired from IBM in 1992 with 30 years of service. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Jobanna S. Miller; two children, Margo Elizabeth Kummer and husband Tony of Winston-Salem and Scott Coleman Miller and wife Christa of Advance; four grandchildren, Ethan and Anna Kummer and Ben and Madi Miller and a brother, James ""Jim"" H. Miller and wife Dot of Alabama. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Clemmons United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Thore and Rev. Mark Portis officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4 A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407 or to the Clemmons Food Pantry, 6000 Meadowbrook Mall Ct. #14, Clemmons, NC 27012.
