Robert "Tripp" Wayne Mathieu

Mr. Robert “Tripp” Wayne Mathieu, 65, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1959, in Texas. Tripp owned his own welding company. He was known for being a country boy, his free spirit and a jokester. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tripp never met a stranger and treated everyone equally. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Mathieu. He is survived by the love of his life, Sioux; three children, Aarian Mathieu (Chris), Lexus Bowman (Michael) and Kristofer Bowman; seven grandchildren, Aiden Lane, Xavier Lane, Onyx Lane, Mila Barker, Jaxon Barker, Noelle Bowman, and Summer Bowman; his mother, Joyce; two siblings, Nancy and Jason; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm Saturday February 15, 2025, at Free at Last Church, 4700 New Walkertown Road, Walkertown, NC, 27051. Pastor Michael Lane will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service. 40 to life.
