Robert Ellis Lindley

Mr. Robert Ellis Lindley Sr., Age 74, passed away October 15, 2015 at Universal Healthcare in King, N.C. He was born April 15, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late William and Ruth Lindley. Robert proudly served his country at age seventeen in the United States Marine Corp from 1958 to 1962. He was retired from Stroh's Brewery with 28 years of service. He loved the outdoors, especially when it included being on a lake fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be missed dearly by his beloved family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Robert is survived by his wife Jerleene of 53 wonderful years of marriage; one daughter, Melissa Watkins; One son, Robert Lindley Jr.; one grandson, Austin Watkins; one brother, two sisters, and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
