Robert Harding Lawson, Sr.

Mr. Robert Harding Lawson, Sr. passed away Saturday morning November 13, at Clemmons Village I. He was born in Stokes County on March 18, 1927 to the late William and Daisy Bibey Lawson. Robert enjoyed gardening, fishing at the beach, and playing solitaire. He was a member at Church of Christ at Ketner's Chapel. Robert was preceded in death by wife Helen Campbell Lawson; and son Dennis Lawson. He is survived by six children Robert ""Gus"" Lawson, Jr. (Iris), Keith Lawson, Faye Bumgardner (Jerry), Kaye Teague, Denise Lawson, and Scott Lawson (Caroline); six grandchildren Robert ""Tripp"" Lawson III, Kaylan Lawson, Danny Teague, David Teague, Nolan Lawson, and Seth Lawson; and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday November 16, at Church of Christ at Ketner's Chapel. The family will receive family and friends following the service at the family home.
