Robert Huffman

As I sat at his bedside holding his hand, my dear Mr. Robert slipped away peacefully from his earthly body yesterday, after a 12 day stay in the hospital and a valiant fight with his long term lung condition.  He was a PROFESSIONAL OVER THE ROAD DRIVER for 40 + years.  In addition to me and my family, who  took him into our homes and hearts,  he leaves to cherish his memory,  Phil Jefferson, his Wynfield Townhomes friends, the Hanes Mall Coffee Club, and ALL who would stop to enjoy his gift of telling long tales.  A visitation will be held at  1:30 PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, with a CELEBRATION OF LIFE following at 2:00, at First Baptist Church, Welcome, NC.  In lieu of flowers, please honor his memory by sending donations to the Building Fund of FBC Welcome. 404 Welcome-Arcadia Road, Lexington, NC. 27295.
