Robert Dean Hanchock

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Robert Dean Hanchock, 55, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Robert was born in Mercer County, West Virginia on December 29, 1957 to the late John and Thelma Evelyn Belcher Hanchock. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Irene Hanchock, Thelma Jean Merritt and Carol Floyd Huffman. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Kiser Hanchock; three daughters, Amy, Amanda and Alicia Hanchock, all of Kernersville; one brother, Don Hanchock of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Barbara Johnson of Kernersville, Julie Lane of Charlotte and Renee Ollis of Lincolnton; and many special nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, February 15 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
