Robert Samuel Haley

Mr. Robert Samuel Haley passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 15, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Robert was born on April 26, 1937 in Forsyth county to the late James and Mary Haley. He was an honorably discharged veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne in the US Army. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather (Pop Pop) and uncle. Robert was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Leota McGee Haley; brother James K. Haley; sister Betty L. Haley; mother-in-law Macy McGee and father-in-law George McGee. He is survived by son Michael E. Haley and wife Gloria; daughter Martha A. Byrd and husband Neal; four grandchildren Sophia R. Haley, Catherine I. Haley, Samuel A. Haley, and Michael I. Haley; sister Helen Templeton and husband Donald Gray; nephew Donald Ray Templeton; two nieces Cecelia Haley and Melissa Sapp Yeatts; cousin Billy Jenkins; and sister-in-law Earline Sapp. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev.
