Robert Olin Bud" Grubbs

WINSTON-SALEM Mr. Robert Olin ""Bud"" Grubbs, 69, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on March 25, 1939 to the late Robert Clay Grubbs and Minnie Jane Gordon Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Hinkles Books Store after 20 years of service and then worked as a driver for Auto Supply Co. (ASCO). Mr. Grubbs was a member of GWRRA (Gold Wing Road Riders Association) B-2 Winston Wings. He is survived by many loving and caring friends and neighbors and will be missed by all who knew him. There will a visitation at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall from 6-8 this evening Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Mr. Grubbs will have no formal funeral services.
