Robert Ernest Fosdal

Mr. Robert Ernest Fosdal, 63, of Lexington passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1948 in Grant, WI to Vivian and Ernest Fosdal. Mr. Fosdal graduated from John R. Mott High School in Postville, IA, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Norplex Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Emil Schultz. Surviving is his wife Shirley Moser Fosdal; a son, Brekka Erik Fosdal and wife Jody of Dyersville, IA; two grandchildren, Hunter and Sierra Fosdal; two step-daughters, Sherri Moser King and husband Richard of Lewisville and Angela Moser Silver and husband Jason of Lexington; 4 step-grandchildren, Cameron and Christopher King and Alexandra and Dylan Silver; a brother, David Fosdal of Summertown, TN; a sister, Dianne Beilke of Wisconsin; his first wife, Marge Walter of Apache Junction, AZ; a niece, Heather Fosdal and fiancé, Darrin Bennett of Franklin TN and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
