Robert Datz

Robert Anton “Bob” Datz, 68, passed away on April 11, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Bob was born on February 19, 1953 to Doris Morganweck in Atlantic City, NJ. He was a graduate of High Point College. Bob and his wife, Janice were very thankful for the blessing of 40 years of marriage. They enjoyed many amazing, relaxing “warm, wet and sandy vacations” together in the Caribbean. Being together made them the happiest. Those memories will be cherished forever. Surviving are Bob’s loving wife of 40 years, Janice Beshears Datz; sister, Susan Highland of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law, Jeannine Canter (Tony) of Clemmons; nieces, Kelly Tyson of Wilmington, Elizabeth Fry of Winston-Salem, Lauren Fuchs (Brad) and their four children of Raleigh.
