Robert Cranfill

Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Cranfill, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Brookridge Rehabilitation Center while recuperating from a long illness. Bobby was born in Forsyth County to the late William Thomas “Tommy” Cranfill, Sr., and Irene Motsinger Cranfill on May 8, 1944. He graduated from RJ Reynolds High School and attended Brevard College. He joined the Modern Chevrolet family in 1964, where he worked for 57 years. Bobby was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife of 57 years and 8 months, Rosa Grant Cranfill; sons, Jason (Maranda) Cranfill, Alan (Anthony) Cranfill; granddaughter, McKenna Cranfill; brother, William “Bill” Thomas Cranfill, Jr. of Pawleys Island, SC and his sister Lynn Armstrong of Mooresville, NC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 13, 2022, at Parklawn Memorial Park on Peters Creek Parkway. The family will receive friends 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
