Robert Edward Cisom

KERNERSVILLE-Robert Edward Cisom, 66, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1943 in Guilford Co. to the late William Edward and Ethel Tucker Cisom. Mr. Cisom was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Coca Cola Bottling Co. after 32 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Jo Etta Calloway Cisom. Surviving are his two children, Joy Cisom of Greensboro, and Robert Cisom of Kernersville; three sisters, Helen Ashby of Winston Salem, Betty Bullard and Elaine Echols both of Kernersville; and one brother, Charles Cisom of Kernersville A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Smith Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Peters and Rev. Bruce Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 pm prior to the service at the church.
