Robert "Bill" Bright

Mr. Robert ""Bill"" Bright, 71, of Advance, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC to Oris Smith Bright and James William Bright. Mr. Bright graduated from Davie High School in 1963 and was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He retired from Carolina Tile and Marble. Mr. Bright was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leroy Bright; a nephew, Jason Bright and a niece, Christy Bright. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Beauchamp Bright; one daughter, Lisa Craig (Kenneth) of Coolemee; one son, Ronald Bright (Maryann) of Advance; two brothers, Virgil Bright (Dorothy) Mocksville and William Bright (Cathy) of Advance; a sister-in-law, Virginia Bright of Inman, SC; five grandchildren; Brandon Warren (Nicole), Dylan Bright, Devin, Bright, Kaitlyn Craig and Hunter Craig; a niece, Teresa Navey (William) and nephews, Roger Bright (Deanna), Bobby Bright, Scott Bright (Janie) and Josh Bright (Krystal) and two great grandsons, Carson and Dakota Warren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Redland Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Dave Richardson, Rev. Joel K. Boyles and Mr. Tim Dunn officiating. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
