Robert 'Hippi' Allen Bolick

Mr. Robert ""Hippi"" Allen Bolick, 55, of Bermuda Run, NC, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home. He was born July 25, 1957 in Caldwell County to Mattie White Bolick and Ward Allen Bolick. Mr. Bolick was Vice President of Bruning Federle Manufacturing in Statesville and was an avid Carolina Panthers and Tarheel fan. Surviving are his wife, Robin Arnett Bolick; a special dog, Sally; two daughters, Chessie Daughtrey (husband Jonathan) of Ivor, VA and Ashley Donald (husband Jay) of Bossier City, LA; two granddaughters, Samantha Daughtrey and Kylie Donald; three sisters, Donna Woody of Hudson, Linda Slaughter of Hickory and his baby sister, Robin Setzer of Gastonia; a brother for life, Ron Jones (wife Rachel) of Concord. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 3176 Deal Mill Rd., Hudson, NC 28638. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Bruning Federle Manufacturing.
