Robert Brown

Robert Allan Brown, 90, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mocksville. Robert was born on November 13, 1931 on Albert St. in Winston-Salem to the late Claude and Glenna Brown. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Piedmont Airlines after 35 years. Robert was a member of Forsyth Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Allen Brown; a brother, Billy Joe Brown; a sister, Bobbie Jean Brown Jones; and a grandson, David Allen Duquemin. Surviving family includes his loving wife, Lola Proctor Brown; two daughters, Sandra B. Ingram (Mike) of Fries, VA and Karon B. Duquemin (Charles) of Sherills Ford, NC; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Southern officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel prior to the graveside service.
