Robert L Adams, Jr.

Robert L. Adams Jr., 60, of Kernersville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday February 15th 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Robert was born in Winston-Salem to Robert L. Adams, Sr. and Lucille Dockery Adams Anagnos. Robert is survived by his children, Laura Shelton and Scott Adams; siblings, Donna Hamm, Joseph Adams, and Marty Trogdon. Robert is also survived by his unborn grandchild of Laura and Drew Shelton. He graduated from Parkland High School, class of 1972; Robert went on to attend Forsyth Technical Community College, graduating in 1974. He was an Account Executive at Murray White Inc. located in High Point, NC. Robert was happiest outdoors while enjoying hiking, bird watching, and visiting waterfalls. He also admired nature photography and listening to the sounds of thunder storms. His two favorite places in the world were Hanging Rock State Park and his screened in porch, built by his best friend, Terry White. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday February 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Winston-Salem, NC. . In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to ""Friends of Sauratown Mountains"", PO Box 353, Danbury, NC 27016. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the Adams family.
