Rita Gail Gaither Moses

KERNERSVILLE - Rita Gail Gaither Moses, 61, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her home. She was born November 26, 1950 in Rowan Co. to the late Gurney Clay and Lillie Mae Potts Gaither. Mrs. Moses was a hairdresser for 44 years, she loved nothing more than to make her customers look good and feel good about themselves. Rita also loved working with her many friends throughout her career. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Marie; and sister, Wanda Claudeen Farmer. Surviving are her wonderful husband and caregiver of 44 years, Earl Lee Moses, Jr. of the home; daughter, Tammy Moses Pyrtle and husband, James; son, Travis Moses and wife, Wendy all of Kernersville; a very special granddaughter, Candice ""Bear"" Pyrtle; brother, Randy Gaither and wife, Teresa of Winston Salem; sister, Rhonda Cladeen Metz and husband Ansel of Wilmington; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved feline, Gizmo. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
