Ricky Barbrow, Sr.

Mr. Ricky Ray Barbrow, Sr., 70, of Advance, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born in Muscogee County, GA, on July 13, 1950, to the late Kyle Harvey and Hattie May Blackwell Barbrow. Mr. Barbrow was the retired owner of Ricky’s Concrete Pumping. He was a proud veteran who served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Barbrow loved God, fishing, and drumming. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Barbrow is preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Barbrow. Surviving is the mother of his children, Ginger Barbrow; three children: Ricky Barbrow, Jr. and wife Denise of Cottondale, FL, Daniel Barbrow of Dothan, AL, and Tina Almazan and husband Freddie of Solvang, CA; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Randy Barbrow of Advance, NC; and two sisters, Rosemary DelRio of Dothan, AL, and Linda Barbham of Kensey, AL.

A celebration of life service will be conducted in his honor 2:00 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Lubelia Johnson "Mrs. B." In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134.
