TEDDER Mrs. Ricki Lewallen Tedder, 67, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1945 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, Herbert Lawrence and Jane Rickard Lewallen. Mrs. Tedder was a lifelong faithful member of Crews United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir and was the first missionary representing the church. She was in the first graduating class of East Forsyth High School and was a graduate of Pfeiffer College. She was the Administrative Assistant and Costume Designer for the Academy of Dance Arts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Williams. Survivors include her husband, Bill of the home; one daughter, Autumn T. Hayes and husband, Brent of Winston-Salem; one granddaughter, Anabelle Hayes; two brothers, Larry Lewallen and wife, Brenda and Mike Lewallen and wife, Monica of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Crews United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Camp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
