Richard Wayne Keys

Mr. Richard Wayne Keys, 64, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021.  He was born June 29, 1956 in Washington, DC to the late Samuel and Florence Keys.  Richard was an avid sports fan, specifically the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cinda Keys and brother-in-law, Mac McLaughlin.  Richard is survived by his six siblings: Byrd Keys (Bonnie), Betty Ann Young (Dana), Linda Shotwell (Bo), Debbie McLaughlin, Robin Groves (Jody), and Bobby Keys (Sandy); and thirteen nieces and nephews: Donna, J.B., Michael, Rebecca, Billy, Brian, Keith, Dustin, Daniel, Caitlyn, Stephanie, Ryan, and Kelly.  A private Celebration of Life service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Richard and his wife, Cinda to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
