Richard Lee Weaver

KERNERSVILLE-Richard Lee Weaver, 72, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Pulaski Co., Indiana to Grace Stanley Weaver and Roy Willard Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a member of Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville and the NRA. He loved scroll sawing and NASCAR. Richard drove for Schneider National as an independent owner operator. He was preceded in death by his father; and a step-son, Randall J. Haynes. In addition to his mother of Monticello, IN, surviving are his wife, Eva Watterson Weaver of the home; a son, Scott Weaver and wife Carrie of Sanford; one step-son, Richard Haynes and wife Sherry of Nixa, MO; two step-daughters, Vicky Penn of Logansport, IN; Rhonda Minard of Colfax; one brother, Nelson Weaver and wife Darlene of Monticello, IN.; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville with Dr. Rob Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
