Richard E. Dick" Waters

Richard E. ""Dick"" Waters, 94, passed away on Saturday February 7, 2009. He was born on March 10, 1914 in Ewing Township, N.J. Dick is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Blanche Cook Waters; His children Judy Akey and her Fianc郩 Tom Garnett of Cary, Dean Waters and his wife Kathy of South Carolina, Brian Waters and his wife Karen of New Jersey; His Grandchildren, Kevin Akey and his wife Michelle, Michelle Akey Pearson and her husband Joe, Tracey Waters Merton and her husband Todd, Dana Waters Mullen and her husband David, Tara and Trevor Waters; His Great Grandchildren, Sepp and Boden Pearson, and Soleil and Ciera Akey. Dick was preceded in death by his sisters Dot Connelly and Eileen Frederick. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 14 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Reverend Doug Rights officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
