Mr. Richard Wayne Snow, 69, left his body on June 6, 2015 to be present with the Lord. He was born December 10, 1945 in Forsyth County to the late Otis Odell Snow and Mildred Jane Lawson Snow. He was a member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Grace Baptist Church. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School class of 1964. He graduated with a degree in Theology from New Hope Bible College and was ordained to the gospel by Grace Baptist Church. Wayne retired as Vice President from Dr. Pepper/7 up bottling company with 36 years of service. He was president of International Soft Drink Beverage Technology. Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Otis Odell Snow, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Lawson Snow; his children, Deborah Snow Moore and husband Albert and Jeffrey Snow and wife Kerrie; five cherished grandchildren, Caitlin, Hailey, Madison, Reagan, and Payton; two sisters, Brenda Scott and husband David and Patricia Albert and husband Thurman and his close friends, Jaris and Brenda Bentley. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Sears and Pastor John Ahern officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
