Richard Raymond Robbins

Richard Raymond Robbins, 82, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. Richard was born in Forsyth Co. on November 23, 1942, to the late Mabel Louise Sell Robbins and Raymond Richard Robbins. Richard enjoyed being outdoors and loved working in his vegetable garden and riding his lawnmower. He was also an avid antique collector and long-time member of Union Grove Baptist Church, where he served on the finance committee for many years. Richard was a graduate of Guilford College and was an Investment Analyst for the County of Forsyth prior to his retirement. Following retirement, he worked at the Greensboro Auto Auction. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie Meadows Robbins, and his beloved grandson, Chandler Robbins. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Joey Robbins (Ashley) and Jason Robbins (Christy), two granddaughters, Jenna and Georgia Robbins, his sister, Janet Valentine and many special nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church 5424 Union Grove Rd.
