Richard Franklin McNeil, Jr.

Mr. Richard ""Rich"" Franklin McNeil, Jr., 53, of Advance passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home. He was born July 19, 1962 in Forsyth County to Richard Franklin and Betty McMichael McNeil. Mr. McNeil was employed with Taylor Brothers Tobacco Company. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife, Terri Phillips McNeil of the home; two daughters, Hannah and Victoria; a son, Coleman; a sister, Beverly Abercrombie and husband Gray of Statesville along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Ryan Showalter and Pastor Derek Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Purlear, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
