Richard Page Jones, III, died peacefully Wednesday morning, September 28th at Forsyth Medical Center with his parents at his side. Richard Page was also born at Forsyth Medical Center 21 years earlier on November 7th,1989; he would soon have celebrated his 22nd birthday. Richard Page graduated from West Forsyth High School in 2008. He was a big-hearted, kind, funny, polite young man with a dry sense of humor. Growing up on a golf course in a golfing family, he, too, loved and excelled at the sport. Richard Page was quite an avid fisherman and could often be found with a rod and reel by a peaceful lake. Raised in a dog-loving family, Richard Page was frequently found playing and snuggling with various pups of all different sizes, shapes, and colors; they were all always excited to have ""their boy"" around and greeted him with wags and kisses. Quite a popular guy, Richard Page was beloved by many, many friends--lots of whom he'd known since elementary school. Richard Page is survived by his mother, Tammy Wall; his stepfather, Wes Wall; his father, Rick Jones; his stepmother, Donna Hampton; and his sister, Brittany Reynolds. Also surviving Richard Page are many family members who loved and supported him throughout his life. Grandparents include Grady Hege and the late Bonnie Hege; Richard, Sr. and Lynda Jones; Mary Nell Wall and the late R.E. ""Doc"" Wall; and Mike and Sylvia Hampton. Great-grandparents include Greta and JD Sink and Marie Hurst. Additionally, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins are survived by Richard Page: Weston and Charlotte Reynolds, Emily Shields, Haylee Moffet; Kim, Bailey, and Abby Wall; Mike, Nicole, Brooke, and Taylor Hege; Clay, Clay Allen, Kaitlyn, and Ashley Jones; Kim, Vincent, and Anna Marino; and Karen Appolonia. A Celebration of Richard Page's life is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st at 3pm at Hope Moravian Church in Winston-Salem. Family will receive friends immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Narcotics Anonymous ( www.NA.org )--or to another organization dedicated to helping people with addictions and those who love them. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the many family members and friends who have supported them fully, as well as to the exceptionally caring, competent, and compassionate staff in Forsyth Medical Center's Intensive Care and Palliative Care Units. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Jones Family. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
