Richard Wyatt Jennings

Mr. Richard W. Jennings, 56, of King passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his home. He was born March 20, 1957 in Jacksonville, Fl. to Roy Haywood Jennings, Sr. and Katherine Milestone Jennings. He was preceded in death by his mother and by David F. Jennings, Deanie Hege and Becky Street. Surviving are a son, Jason Wyatt Jennings, of Raleigh; a grandson, Justin Wyatt Jennings; brothers, Roy H. Jennings, Jr. and wife, Teresa, Alan P. Jennings and wife, Susan, Richard W. Hege and wife, Josey and Timothy Hege and wife, Kathy; a sister, Catherine H. Ittermann and husband, Bob; his father, of Winston-Salem and his second mother, Osie Jennings; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Karl Minor officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Becks Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5505 Becks Baptist church road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27106.
