Richard Brent Fountain

KERNERSVILLE- Mr. Richard Brent Fountain, 67, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1943 to Jay Dee Fountain and the late Marie L. Dunning Fountain. He was an avid sports fan of all sports. Brent was a great partner in life and always made his wife feel so loved, because they worked together as a team. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kent D. Fountain. Surviving are; his loving wife Linda Roberts Fountain, two sons; J. Andrew McClung, and Richard B. Stoll, a daughter, Marisa Ferrell, seven grandchildren, Makenzie, Madelyn, Brandon, Kyler, Mackenzie, Jacob, and Mason, and many special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Oaklawn Baptist Church by Rev. Todd Haley. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Oaklawn Baptist Church Education Building Fund @ 3500 Kernersville Rd. Winston Salem, NC 27107.
