Richard Eugene Doyle

Richard Doyle 65 years of age lived a full life. He was born in Forsyth County to the late Augustus Hugh Doyle and Mae Snyder Doyle. He graduated from Parkland High School in 1966. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company as a Mechanical Specialist after 38 years of service. He spent his retirement years serving the Lord through Custodial Ministries in four different churches and his kindness and giving spirit touched the lives of everyone around him. Richard was a dedicated member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and began the Cub Scout troop at the church. He was also a member of the Hobby Park RC Club and enjoyed flying RC planes. Other hobbies included fishing, growing flowers, and he even raised and sold Christmas trees for about seven years. Surviving to cherish his memory is a wife of 45 years Patricia F. Doyle, two daughters Melissa (William) Boswell, Peggy (Chris) Nuckolls and six loving grandchildren; Mekayla, Caleb, Mekenna, Kenan Boswell; Richard and Ryan Nuckolls. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Augustus Charles Doyle. The Family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 10th at Hayworth-Miller, Silas Creek Parkway from 6 - 8 pm. Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church beginning at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to: Mt.
