Richard Rick Gray Cox

Mr. Richard ""Rick"" Gray Cox, 39, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He was born July 9, 1969 in Forsyth County. Rick worked for Leonard Block Company for the past 19 years. He loved to work on cars and watch NASCAR. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Henry and Irene Cox and an uncle, Jerry Childress. Surviving are three children, Michael, Kaitlin, and Skylar Cox; mother, Kathy Cox; father, Jr. Cox; one sister, Kris Rose (Brad); grandparents, Robert and Lottie Childress; also surviving are three special friends, Dwayne Richardson, B. Leonard, and Phillip Leonard and his ex-wife, Kelly Cox. A graveside service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bill McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:00 noon on Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
