Richard Wilson 'Bud' Cox

Richard Wilson ""Bud"" Cox passed away July 20, 2013 at Regency Care of Clemmons. Bud was born May 19, 1928 and was a life-long resident of Forsyth County. He retired from R.J. Reynolds with over 25 years of service. Bud and his wife Dorothy were active members of Center Grove Baptist Church for many years. Bud was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Dorothy Shelton Cox. Survivors include sons, Jeff Cox (Kim); and Greg Horton; grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Cox, and Jody and Stephen Horton; numerous siblings, nieces and nephews; as well as close friends, Vernon and Jean Goforth. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Josh Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 8200 Center Grove Church Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012.
