Richard Curtis Ricky" Combs

GERMANTON, Mr. Richard Curtis ""Ricky"" Combs, 53, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April, 2, 2009. Ricky was born in Forsyth County on the son of Mildred Frye Combs and the late Harvey Richard Combs. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 33 years of service. Surviving is his wife of 22 years Tammy Hill Combs, a son Richard Brandon Combs both of the home, a step-daughter Jennifer Horn Farmer and husband Eldon of Winston-Salem and a step-granddaughter Hannah Farmer, his mother Mildred Frye Hamlin of Rural Hall. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Rev. Doug Anders officiating. The Combs family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
