Richard Bowman

Mr. Richard Gray Bowman, 66, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  He was born in Forsyth County on July 31, 1955 to the late Hubert Bynum and Lorraine Marshall Bowman.  Mr. Bowman served in the U.S. Air Force with eight years of service.  He retired from American Airlines with many years of service.  Mr. Bowman loved cats, dogs, airplanes, and Vegas.  Surviving is a sister, Karen Vernon (Sammy); brother, Russell Bowman (Jamie); two nephews, Justin Bowman and Lenn Gray Long and a niece, Connie Gantt.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Tang officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF) 311 Harvey St. Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 6496 Baux Mountain Rd.
