R.G. Stanley

Mr. R.G. Stanley, 92, passed away at his home on November 18, 2024. 

R.G. was born in Surry County and spent most of his life in Clemmons, NC. 

R.G. was a barber for over 41 years. During this time, he amassed a great many friends who came to love him for his laugh and giving nature. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elli; daughter, Vickie Lynn; great-granddaughter, Radha Taylor; great grandson, Jacob; his brothers, Artis and Shorty; along with his parents. 

He is survived by his daughters, Dyanne Stanley and Rena Waring; grandchildren, Sandi Alspaugh, Harley Hall, Shahon Stanley, Britt Heath, Dustie Waring and Tanner Briggs; great-grandchildren, Alex, Hailey, Lorelai, Lincoln, Ryder, Lennox; great-granddaughter, Eleyci; his sister, Frances Cave; his nephew, Arlin Stanley; adopted son, Robert Horn; along with many special nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Reverend Bill Jenkins and Buddy Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM - 1:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
