RG Stanley

Mr. R.G. Stanley, 92, passed away at his home on November 18, 2024. R.G. was born in Surry County and spent most of his life in Clemmons, NC. R.G. was a barber for over 41 years. During this time he amassed a great many friends who came to love him for his laugh and giving nature. He was preceded in death by his Wife Elli, daughter Vickie Lynn, great granddaughter Radha Taylor, great grandson Jacob, his brothers Artis and Shorty along with his parents. 

He is survived by his daughters, Dyanne Stanley and Rena Waring. Grandchildren Sandi Alspaugh, Harley Hall, Shahon Stanley, Britt Heath, Dustie Waring and Tanner Briggs. Great grandchildren, Alex, Hailey, Lorelai, Lincoln, Ryder, Lennox, and great granddaughter Eleyci. His sister, Frances Cave, his nephew Arlin Stanley and adopted son Robert Horn. Along with many special nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Bill Jenkins and Buddy Jenkins at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
