STOKESDALE - Reverend Larry Graham Williams, 64, was called to the more immediate presence of his Savior, following a lengthy illness on Monday, December 05, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 2, 1947 in Guilford Co. to the late Robert Graham and Viola Pegram Williams. As an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Larry spent 30 years serving pastorates in Kentucky, Georgia, and North Carolina. In his retirement years Larry was a member of Kernersville Moravian Church. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia and his daughter, Autumn of the home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Worship will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2011 at Kernersville Moravian Church with Rev. Donald Winters officiating. Burial will follow in God's Acre. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Kernersville Moravian Church Missions Ministry for the ""Daily Bread Project of Feeding the Starving Children throughout the World"", 504 S. Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284. Special thanks is extended to the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, the congregation of Kernersville Moravian Church, as well as the faculty and staff of Rockingham County High School for their compassionate care and support of the Williams family during Larry's illness.
