Reva Holt

STOKESDALE – Reva Mae Pegram Holt, 91, passed away at her home early Thursday morning, September 17, 2020. We are so thankful that we were blessed to have her with us for 91 years.

Reva was born on December 10, 1928 in Guilford County to Ervin and Emma Plummer Pegram.

Reva was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone.  She poured her life into her family and church and was incredibly selfless when doing so. She always stood strong in her faith and praised Him in her daily walk.

Reva is survived by her husband of 68 years, Cleo Holt; four children, Marilyn Payne (John), Sandy Westmoreland (Allen), Tommy Holt (Karen), and C.H. Holt (Wanda); one brother, Roger Pegram (Sylvia); 10 grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Jacob, John David, Kyle, Matthew, Spencer, William, Jessica, and Tori; 10 great grandchildren, Ethan, Eliana, Isaac, Wyatt, Hunter, Karleigh, Maggie Jayne, Anna, Mack and Luke; as well as a host of family, friends, and caregivers whom she loved.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverends Duain Whittemore and Chuck Peters officiating.

Due to public restrictions, there will be no formal visitation, but friends may come and view Reva, as well as to sign the register, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
