Rev. Ronnie Keith White

The Reverend Ronnie Keith White, 59, pastor of Advent Moravian Church and beloved husband of Sue Southern White, was called suddenly into the more immediate presence of his beloved Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from Forsyth Medical Center. Keith was born August 1, 1953, in Ahoskie, NC to Truett and Harriett White, graduated from Bertie Senior High School, attended East Carolina University and graduated from Gardner Webb College and Southeastern Baptist Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree. Keith loved singing and serving the Lord to the dear people of Advent Church. He previously served as pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church and Menola Baptist Church, associate pastor of Mineral Springs Baptist Church, pastor of Union Hill Baptist, Bethesda Moravian and Enterprise Moravian. He was preceded in death by his father; and his beloved cat, Hobo. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Southern White of the home, his mother of Askewville, N.C., his sister Judy Basnight and husband Milton, of Askewville; a nephew, Greg Basnight and wife Cher of Greenville, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday Oct 28, 2012 at 2:00pm at Advent Moravian Church with the Rev. Bob Peak, Dr. Cecil Cave and David Berrier officiating. Burial will follow in Advent's God's Acre. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home Silas Creek Chapel.
