Rev. Charles Cordell McCollum

Colfax - Rev. Charles Cordell McCollum of Colfax went home to be with the Lord Friday March 13, 2009. He was born February 4, 1928 in Guilford County to Arthur and Cassie Frazier McCollum. Mr. McCollum was the former pastor of Belews Creek, Community, Midway, and Martin Av. Baptist Churches. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Eloise Goins McCollum of the home, one son Mike McCollum and wife Becky, a daughter Donna McCollum Key and husband Ronnie, one sister Esther Campbell, five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday March 16, 2009 at Smith Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the church prior to the service.
