Rev. Wallace Calvin Elliott

Rev. Wallace Calvin Elliott, 83, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born January 8, 1934 in Guilford County, the son of William and Sarah Gardner Elliott. He was a graduate of Moravian College and Moravian Theological Seminary both in Bethlehem, PA. Rev. Elliott served in many churches before his retirement including Home Moravian, Christ Moravian, Oak Grove Moravian and other Moravian Churches in Charlotte, Ohio and Maryland. He enjoyed playing in the church band, writing music and playing guitar. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 40 years, Shirley Elliott and several siblings. Survivors include two sons, John Elliott (Barbie) and David Elliott; a sister, Ann McLaughlin; four grandchildren, Kayla, Meagan, Cody and Candance and three great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
