Rev. Clint M. Branch

Rev. Clint M. Branch, 81, of Kernersville, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born November 1, 1928 in Forsyth County to Matthew and Collie M. Stewart Branch. Rev. Branch was in the ministry for 45 years serving as a pastor of several churches in the area. He also volunteered as a Chaplain at Forsyth Medical Center for the past five years. He never met a stranger, touched the lives of many and loved serving the Lord. Rev. Branch was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Britt Branch. Surviving are two daughters, Amelia Slate (William) of Winston-Salem and Linda Hull of Kernersville; three sons, Larry M. Branch (Charlene) of Florida, Dale G. Branch of Lexington and Kim Branch (Michele) of Kernersville; six grandchildren, Kristen Hill (Justin), Heather Thompson (Madison), Joshua, Brandon, Danielle and MaKenzie; two great grandchildren, Stephen and Talen Hill; four brothers, Wayne Branch of Winston-Salem, Lawrence Branch of Kernersville, M.B. Branch of Winston-Salem and Roland Branch of Kernersville and one sister, Cordelia Westmoreland of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chap. Randy Hillman and Chap. Doug Evans and Kristen Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
