Rendall Kelsey Rothrock

Mr. Rendall Kelsey Rothrock, 59, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 after a horrific accident and lengthy stay at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1955 in Forsyth County to Carl F. and Violet Poindexter Rothrock. Mr. Rothrock attended Ketner's Church of Christ, as well as Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ. He was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and attended Forsyth Tech Community College. He worked most of his life in the construction field with his work career ending as chief estimator at the Concrete Construction Company of Lewisville. He also loved woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael. Surviving are one sister, Ann Weisner and husband Don of Lewisville; one brother, Roscoe Rothrock of Lewisville; a half-sister, Carol Lewis and husband Gerald of Winston-Salem; his special companion, River (his Golden Retriever); a dear friend, Sarah Marler of Lewisville who brought much happiness in his last few years of life; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ with James Percival and Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff of the Burn Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for their loving care given to Rendall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center ICU Burn Center, 301 Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
