Regina Malone Crookshank

Regina Malone Crookshank, 88 years old went to be with Our Lord on Dec.12, 2015 She was preceded in death by her parents Patrick J and Margaret Delaney Malone, 11 siblings, Robert R Crookshank.her beloved husband of 37 years and her son R Daniel Crookshank.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York where she resided until her marriage in 1944. She is survived by William Malone of Lakewood NJ and Kathleen Howlett of Avon, Mass, her children, Bj Crookshank of Evans, Ga, Richard Crookshank (Cheryl) of Bartlett, Tn, Paul Crookshank (Faith) of St Marys, Ga, Donna Murray (Ray) of Advance, NC, Joanne Slemp of Evans, Ga, and Liz Shaw Crookshank (Daniel) of Winston-Salem, NC. She was blessed with10 Grand- children and 12 great grand-children and 3 great-great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was a founding family of Our Lady of Mercy Church and devout Catholic. She was a member of The Alter Guild, taught Sunday school and was involved with PTA. She sang with the Maids of Melody, delivered Meals on Wheels for many years, and was a member of the Good times Club. She also enjoyed bowling and gardening.
Viewing will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 with a rosary at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Pkwy. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church followed by Rite of Christian Burial at Parklawn Memorial Gardren. In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to Our Lady of Mercy Church Building Fund or to K B Reynolds Hospice Home.
