Rebecca Harp Frye

Mrs. Rebecca Harp Frye, 75, passed away November 13, 2016 at her home. She was was born June 15, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late Robert O. Harp and Ezlee Winters Harp. Mrs. Frye was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 35 years of service. She was preceded in death in 2012 by her husband, James David ""J.D."" Frye. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Ferlin Frye and Randi L. Frye of Lexington; two grandchildren, David Mitchell Frye and Anna Marie Frye; two sisters, Barbara H. Shields of Winston-Salem and Marjorie H. Forrest and husband Bill of Rural Hall; a brother, R. Wayne Harp and partner Tony of Mocksville. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Mary Miller and David Ferlin Frye officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 4265 Ebert Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
