They will soar on wings like eagles."" - Isaiah 40:30 Becky passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center after a battle with multiple cancers. She was born June 21, 1934 to Esker and Eunice Long in Tobaccoville, NC. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Bill Cash of Clemmons; sons, Keith Cash (Ruth) of Winston-Salem, Rick Cash (Arlene) of Clemmons; a daughter, Penny Painter (David) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Zach and Zoe Painter; brother, EJ Long (Frances); sisters, Doris Winfrey and Norma Jean Willard (Paul); special friend Brenda Nifong; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Eugene Long; brother-in-law Roy Winfrey; and niece Denise Long Hayden. Becky enjoyed bowling and playing golf. She was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Michael Gates and the Rev. Albert Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. ""Mom was a very special lady who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was always strong and positive and an inspiration to all. We love you mom - may you rest in peace.""
